The Trunk
The trunk on this Car had some rust repairs done to it. But it still needs to be finished off.

You can kind of see them in this photo, this is the first before pic. What my plans for the trunk are:
1. Clean it out (accomplished 9/28/06)

(There was a lot of dirt and it actually took some time. Not the best idea when you have a cold and fever.
2. Prep with Metal Ready.
-After reading the Directions I decideed this wasn't necessary. (10/01)
3. Paint with a POR-15 clear coat. (10/01)
This wasn't so tricky, and took very little time. That stuff is potent! Not something for my pregnant wife to work on. But it can go on thin, a little will go a loing way. Supposedly this stuff works wonders, you cvan paint right over rust, that is just what I did.

4. Cover with a trunk splatter paint that is the appropriate color
5. Get the correct wheel cover for it

***The Picture here shows a bit of uneveness, so I should do a nother coat or two along with a topcoat.
6. Hide some dead bodies in it (that's a joke- but I could lay down in it, actually I had to in order to clean the far reaches of it.
